The turn of the year is just around the corner and it's time to take a look at outstanding holiday days, overtime and minus hours. As a responsible employer, it is important to know the legal regulations and take effective measures to ensure a smooth transition into the new year.

Not taken holiday:

Your employees are legally entitled to paid holiday. It is in your company's interest to ensure that employees take their holidays on time to avoid overwork and bottlenecks at the end of the year. By law, leave days not taken expire on 31 December. As an employer, you should speak to your employees well in advance and encourage them to take unused holiday days before the end of the year. However, for operational or personal reasons, you can offer your employees the opportunity to use up their remaining leave by the end of March of the following year.

Overtime work
